HODGE PODGE AFTERNOON: Become an Environmental Sculptor - Theo Art School Date: 8/16/2010 - 8/20/2010 Location: Theo Art School - High Prairie Arts & Science Complex Time: 2:00 - 2:55 p.m. Instructor: Alicia Broxmeyer Ages: Grades 4-6 2:00 - 2:55 p.m. Cost: Members = $30, Non-Members = $35 {includes all art supplies} {Sign up your child for the entire afternoon, 3 classes, and get a $5 coupon that can be used for other Theo classes} Students will create various outdoor and indoor sculptures from objects found outside. Students will decide the best angle from which to photograph their sculptures. They will learn about two current environmental sculptors: Andy Goldsworthy and Martin Hill. Other environmentally friendly sculpture projects may include clay and other materials.
