Environmental Education Resources Directory

ND EE Resource Directory

This directory was designed to provide educators and youth leaders information about environmental education programs, guest speakers, and information and resources available at little or no cost. Environmental education (EE) is the umbrella term used which encompasses all natural resource conservation education, global education, waste education and other environmental education activities. Some of the materials are specific to North Dakota, while others are broader.

Within North Dakota, there are numerous agencies and organizations involved in some form of environmental education. They share the responsibility to help young people increase their understanding of the world around them; develop the ability to make informed decisions; and have the confidence to take responsible actions.

A copy of the 3-ring binder directory was given to every school and public library. A few hard copies are still available and available for $5 by contacting glenda.fauske@ndsu.edu or (701) 228-5446.

One of our goals is to update the directory soon.
